This refund and returns policy applies to all products and wireless plans offered by Bytes Mobile LLC.
Orders – Refund and Returns Policy:
All orders placed with Bytes Mobile are fully refundable prior to service activated. After service activation, all plans including voice minutes, texts or data purchased are non-refundable on a use it or lose it basis. A 30 days exception mentioned below applies to all Annual and multi years plan.
The $10 per line one-time activation charge is fully refundable if SIM card is returned to Bytes Mobile within 30 days of the date after the SIM card(s) was shipped out to the customer. After such 30 days period, the $10 one-time activation charge is non-refundable.
No returns are allowed for wireless service including voice minutes, texts or data once purchased and activated or renewed. SIM cards do not need to be returned. Charge backs are not allowed as none of the items or service purchased are returnable or refundable once activated (30 days exception applies on long term plans).
After Plan Activation – Refund and Returns Policy:
Wireless plans can be activated on Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, Two Years or Three Years term. These plans auto renew for each respective term and are non-refundable after renewal. Renewals are auto charged to the payment method on file 5 days prior to the expiration of the ongoing term.
Data Only, Pay-per-GB and Monthly plans are activated for 30 days and then auto renewed for every 30 days period. Quarterly plans are no longer offered. Grandfathered quarterly plans are 3 months @ 30 days each month plans. Annual or 1Y plans are 12 months @ 30 days each month plans. Two Years or 2Y plans are 24 months @ 30 days each month plans. Three Years or 3Y plans are 36 months @ 30 days each month. All plans auto renew 5 days prior to the expiration of the ongoing term.
Monthly Plans: Monthly plans can be cancelled every 30 days after initial activation and prior to a renewal charge. These plans are non-refundable once activated for each 30 days term. Plans require renewal every 30 days and require pre-payment. In addition, auto-pay and paperless billing is required for automatic renewal.
Quarterly Plans, Annual, Two Years or Three Years Plans (30 days exception policy): These plans can be cancelled within the first 30 days of activation for a partial refund. An amount equal to the regular monthly amount of the plan plus taxes and fees are charged if cancelled within 30 days of activation. Any additional amount paid by the user is refunded if the plan is cancelled within the first 30 days of activation of a new plan. These plans are non-refundable after 30 days of activation and are treated as use it or lose it. Plan renewals are non-refundable for the full term after renewed manually or automatically. This policy is also referred to as the the “30 days exception” policy on refunds.
Pay-per-GB and Data Only Plans: These plans are 30 days plans and no refunds are issued for the 30 days of activation or renewal. A minimum charge applies per month that is equal to the charge of 1 GB of data usage plus a service charge outlined at plan activation or renewal. This is a pre-paid plan and you must purchase your planned monthly usage prior to using the data. Add-ons are non-refundable. Top-ups are non-refundable.
eSIM Plans for Phones: These plans are non-refundable once activated or renewed. Returns are not applicable to eSIM.
eSIM Plans for Watches and other Devices: These plans are non-refundable once activated or renewed. Returns are not applicable to eSIM.
All other plans not mentioned above are non-refundable. Add-ons are non-refundable. Top-ups are non-refundable.
All pre-paid plans are non refundable after activation. Long term plans are refundable if cancelled within 30 days of initial activation as outlined above.

Sale items
Items on sale are not refundable until specifically outlined in this policy.
Plan upgrades/downgrades
There are no upgrade/downgrades of plans in the middle of a term of service for all service plans. You must upgrade/downgrade your ongoing wireless service plan at least 5 days prior to the expiration of the ongoing term. Upgrades/downgrades are applied to the next term of service.
Phones and other Devices
Devices and Phones are sold by third parties/partners directly to users. Please refer to the partner policy for any exchanges. Bytes Mobile is not involved in this process directly or indirectly.
Refer to the refund, return and cancellation policy for different service plans above. Same terms apply for any gift orders.
Defective SIM card(s)
SIM card(s) do not need to be returned after service activation. Defective SIM card(s) are replaced free of cost if requested within the first 30 days of service activation. After 30 days, a $10 per SIM card charge is applied for SIM card(s) shipped to users. This charge is waived one time for users on Unlimited, Unlimited with HighQ and HighQ plans.
Cancellations
You may cancel your service at any time. No refunds are issued if you cancel your service after activation except for plans that allow a 30-days exception refund as mentioned above. All plans are use it or lose it after activation or renewal. Charge backs are not allowed.
Other – Fraudulent Transactions
For fraudulent transactions, your bank or credit card company must send us a written request within 15 days of any such transaction occurring. You are responsible for notifying us of a fraudulent transaction on your account within 24 hours of the event occurring so that we can stop any further damage or illegal usage of your account, including suspending your service to stop further usage. You will be responsible for all charges posted to your account if you do not report a fraudulent transaction to us within a reasonable time frame.
Other – SIM Swapping
As a matter of policy, we do not allow SIM swapping (“SIM swapping, also called SIM jacking or SIM hijacking, is a form of identity theft where a criminal steals your mobile phone number by assigning it to a new SIM card.”). If you need a new or replacement SIM, we will send you a new SIM at the address on your account. If you have changed your account address within 24 hours prior to requesting a new SIM, we will add a 5 days wait time before sending out a replacement or new SIM card.
